Memphis took control with a 10-0 run, stretching the score from 82-67 to 92-67. They dominated the 3rd quarter, outscoring Utah 36-17, and entered the 4th with a 101-74 lead, allowing them to ease off in the final period.
The Knicks Are Coming Off A Win
The Knicks improved to 30-16 on the season with a 143-120 win over the Kings on Saturday. New York, favored by 4.5 points, covered the spread with a +23 margin. The game’s total of 263 points exceeded the O/U line of 233.5 by 29.5 points.
New York started strong with a 10-0 run, pushing the score from 23-17 to 33-17. The Kings fought back in the 2nd quarter, outscoring the Knicks 42-34, but New York regained control in the 3rd, winning it 39-33. They closed out the game by holding Sacramento to 20 points in the 4th while scoring 32 of their own.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies to a 125-point performance in their win over the Jazz, shooting 71.4% from the field and contributing 28 points, with 11 coming in the 2nd quarter. Memphis shot 51.2% overall, making 14 threes at a 36.8% clip.

Despite giving up 31 points in the 1st quarter, the Grizzlies tightened up defensively, allowing just 26 points in the 2nd and 17 in the 3rd to help secure a 125-103 win over the Jazz. Memphis held Utah to 42% shooting from the field.
The Grizzlies were particularly effective at defending the three, limiting the Jazz to 12 made threes on 25% shooting. Memphis also recorded 10 steals and 9 blocks in the game.
Knicks Team Defense
Defensively, the Grizzlies shined in the 3rd quarter, giving up just 17 points, as they held the Jazz to 103 points on Saturday. Memphis allowed 31 points in the 1st quarter but tightened up in the 2nd, allowing 26 points. The Jazz managed 29 points in the 4th, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Grizzlies’ defensive effort.
Memphis limited Utah’s three-point shooting, holding them to 25% from deep with just 12 made threes. The Jazz went to the line 16 times, making 13 free throws. The Grizzlies also recorded 10 steals and 9 blocks in the game.
