NBA Look Ahead; Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021; 7:00pm CT

We’ve got a great week of NBA games slated for this week, and it’ll get started on Tuesday. The NBA is ramping up in intensity as we near the midway point of the season.

Positioning in the Eastern and Western Conference is starting to settle out as well. Although the lines aren’t available just yet, we can get a good idea of the winners of these ones.

We’ll be covering Brooklyn Nets against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Nets will head to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers on Saturday, Dec. 25.

21-8 Brooklyn Nets at #25 Defense Los Angeles Lakers

The Brooklyn Nets are leading the Eastern Conference by a large margin right now. They’re 21-8 right now and have a good lead on the Chicago Bulls.

Taking on the Lakers will be a good test for the Nets defense, who ranks 11th in the NBA. Their offense will likely perform really well against the Lakers’ No.25 ranked defense. 

The Lakers have a great offense but not the defense to match. They have, however, performed pretty well at home this season, but not against the spread.

Currently, they’re 6-11 against the spread when playing at home. Still, with a few players out for the Nets, potentially Kevin Durant, we’ll take the Lakers at home.
