Minnesota took control early with an 11-0 run, breaking a 14-14 tie. They led 28-19 after the 1st quarter and 52-37 at halftime. Although the Spurs outscored them 33-24 in the 3rd quarter, the Timberwolves responded by winning the 4th quarter 30-22 to seal the win.
