NCAA Basketball Look Ahead; Monday, Feb. 7, 2022

We are now nearing the end of the college basketball season as conference tournaments will start to get underway in just over a month.

There is a ton of very good conference matchups this upcoming week, and this is the point where games are going to start deciding whether or not a team can win a conference title.

Losses from here on out are going to be very tough for some programs to overcome if they wish to win a conference title. Below we take a look at five games that will be of impact this week.

Kansas Jayhawks Travel to Texas to Face the Longhorns

The Kansas Jayhawks travel to take on the Texas Longhorns on February 7th in what is going to be a stellar Big 12 contest. Kansas is 18-3 on the season thus far and are 7-1 in conference play.

The Jayhawks are ranked #10 in the country. Texas is 16-6 on the season so far and sits at 5-4 in conference play. Texas is ranked #23 in the nation.

Kansas has been really good offensively this year as they average 80.0 points per game this season. Texas scores 68.5 points a game, but they only allow 55.5 points a game.

Kansas is led by Ochai Agbaji, who scores 20.9 points a game. Texas Longhorns is led by Timmy Allen, who scores 11.5 points a game. Both of these teams are really solid, but I look for Kansas to get the upset on the road.
