NFL Preseason Week 3 Betting Outlook

We’ve got one more week of preseason betting as the NFL Preseason comes to a close. Today we’re going to take a look at each of the games and make our picks for each one.

New York Giants vs. New York Jets – August 28, 2022 4:30pm CST

The first is the New York Giants at the New York Jets. There are a few players worth watching in New York’s lineup. However, defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux was injured last week, and we don’t expect to see him.

The Jets are 2-0 in the preseason and boast wins over the Eagles and Falcons. Their offense has performed pretty well, and they have home-field advantage.

Semaj Perine has earned a lot of yards on the ground for the Jets as well. We’ll go with the Jets at home over the Giants.

Detroit Lions vs. Pittsburgh Steelers – August 28, 2022 4:30pm CST

The last preseason game of the week is between the Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers. Lions Jared Goff could run the offense for a few drives in this game to prepare for Week 1. The Lions just secured a 27-26 win over the Indianapolis Colts last week.

Offensively, the Lions have a slight edge over the Steelers. On defense, however, the Steelers have allowed just 20 points per game. They have a strong roster and are playing at home, so we’ll take Pittsburgh.
