NFL Week 15 Recap Lions, Cardinals, Buccaneers, and Saints

The Lions Upset the Cardinals

In the biggest upset of the week, the Detroit Lions took down the Cardinals by a 30-12 margin. Arizona Cardinals was vying for the one seed in the NFC, so this loss is going to hurt.

Detroit Lions was +475 to win, so a $100 bet would have returned $575, which is an epic payout for a moneyline wager. The Cardinals were +13.5 against the spread, and they won because they shut down Kyler Murray. Jared Goff was also sensational throwing the football.

Tom Brady Shut Out

Tom Brady has always struggled against the Saints since heading to Tampa Bay. This was evident on Sunday when New Orleans Saints dominated Tampa Bay. The Saints won 9-0, but the Buccaneers’ offense could not score any points.

This was the first time in 255 consecutive starts that Brady could not convert yards into points. The Buccaneers were -11, but they lost 9-0. The Saints had owned the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their past 22 games, winning 72.7% of the time.
