NFL Regular Season Week 18 Betting Outlook

Week 18 in the NFL has arrived, with several teams still making a push toward the playoffs. One playoff spot remains to be decided in each conference, and several games will determine the seedings when the playoffs begin in less than two weeks. Many teams will rest players this week in preparation for the postseason, while others will do the same to ensure their top players are healthy heading into next season. 

This means that the betting lines for Week 18 will move around while teams determine who will be in and out of their lineups in the final game of the regular season. However, with the top seed yet to be decided in both conferences, top teams like the Chiefs, Bengals, and Bills in the AFC and the 49ers, Eagles, and Cowboys in the NFC are battling for the top spot and a first-round bye. Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh Steelers – Sunday, January 8th, 12:00 pm CST 

The Pittsburgh Steelers are another team that needs some help if they’re going to make it to the postseason. Fortunately, they’re going up against the Cleveland Browns as -149 favorites, and have had a lot of success against their long-standing rivals. They’ll take another victory in Week 18.

Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts – Sunday, January 8th 12:00 pm CST 

The Indianapolis Colts are bringing in Sam Ehlinger to start against the Houston Texans. That could make a difference, but not enough to think the Texans can pull off the upset. Indianapolis has had a lot of trouble this season and has no postseason aspirations but, at -164, will look to finish on a high note against a team that has struggled even more.
