NFL Week 18 Predictions; Crush Your Bookie

Crush Your Bookie Chris Walker; NFL Week 18

Yet another glorious NFL regular season is coming to an end this weekend. It’s been a season full of highs and lows, but mostly highs. We’re bringing an 80-55-2 (31-17-1 on locks) record into the final week of the season and look to add even more to our bank accounts. One last time for the regular season. Let’s ride.

Best Bets we have Chiefs, 49ers vs Rams, and the Chargers

Kansas City Chiefs -10 vs. Denver Broncos

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will travel to Mile High Stadium this weekend with their sights on the one seed in the AFC. Kansas City is fighting for home field throughout the playoffs, while Denver isn’t playing for anything. The Broncos saw what little playoff hopes they had left come to an end last week after their 34-10 loss to the Chargers. Drew Lock continues to show us why he should not be an NFL quarterback and he will be back under center on Saturday.

The Chiefs, who used to be one of the worst teams ATS, have turned into one of the best going 6-1 against the number in their last seven games. The Denver Broncos, on the other hand, have only covered once in their last five games, and that was against the Lions. Most teams don’t like playing in the altitude in Denver, but KC is not one of those teams. They have covered the spread in their last seven trips to Mile High. Kansas City’s offense is humming and their defense shouldn’t have their hands full with Lock. They should have no problem covering this lofty spread against a Denver team who has nothing left to play for.

49ers vs Rams

San Francisco 49ers vs. LA Rams U44.5

Two division rivals will meet on Sunday afternoon and both teams have something to play for. The Los Angeles Rams need a win in order to clinch the division, and the 49ers need a win just to get into the playoffs. Since both teams need this win, that means both defenses will be digging in. Jimmy G, who is battered and bruised, might be getting the nod over rookie Trey Lance. Either way, San Fran will be looking to pound the rock for most of the game. The total has also gone under in four of the Niners last five games, and under in five of their last seven on the road.

LA has had some QB struggles, as well. Matt Stafford has looked more like the Stafford from Detroit in the last few games. He has thrown six interceptions in the last three games compared to five touchdowns. He will have to step up against a stout San Francisco defense who gave him fits when they met in a blowout loss earlier this season. Unders have been the play when the Rams play at home. 12 of the last 15 games in SoFi Stadium have stayed under the total. The under has also hit four of the last five times these teams have met. That, along with the Niners road-under record, is the perfect recipe for a low scoring affair. Take the under.

Chargers vs Raiders

LA Chargers -3 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

This is what the final week of the season is made for. If the Colts lose to the Jags on Sunday, which is possible since they have not won in Jacksonville in five years, the winner of this game will go to the playoffs.

Given all that has happened to them this season, it is a miracle that the Raiders even have a shot at the postseason. But I think their rollercoaster of a season ends here. The Chargers got the best of their division rival in their last matchup when the defense got to Derek Carr early and often. That will definitely be their priority again. The Raiders very much live and die with Carr. In games where he throws for 300+, they are 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS.

The Los Angeles Chargers are just a more complete team, especially on offense. LA has scored at least four touchdowns in their last five games. While Vegas has only scored 20 points twice in their last six contests. Much like the Chiefs in our first pick, the Bolts have owned this matchup. They are 8-4 ATS in their last 12 games against the Raiders, including going 5-1 ATS against them on the road. I like the Chargers to take care of business and punch their ticket to the playoffs in prime time.

The Rest of the Bunch:

Detroit Lions +3.5 vs. Green Bay Packers
New England Patriots -6.5 vs. Miami Dolphins
Pittsburgh Steelers +6 vs. Baltimore Ravens
Arizona Cardinals -6.5 vs. Seattle Seahawks

I’m not going to lie. It was hard to find winners on this board with all the question marks on who will play, but I dug deep and sniffed out seven for you. It has been an honor to give out winners this season. Your bookie is begging for this year to end, little does he know we’ll be back for the playoffs, too. Until then, pray for your bookie.
