NFL Regular Season Week 2 Betting Outlook
In the NFL, every team has a chance to win on any given Sunday. But as we move into Week 2, some teams are starting to show their true colors. The teams that looked good in Week 1 are likely going to continue playing well, while the teams that struggled are going to have a harder time getting back on track.
That’s what makes NFL betting so interesting – anything can happen on any given Sunday. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make some educated guesses about how things will play out. So without further ado, let’s take a look at my predictions for Week 2 of the NFL season.
Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars – Sunday, September 18, 2022 12:00pm CST
Not a single team from the AFC South earned a win last week, and two of them faced each other. The Indianapolis Colts start the season with a 0-0-1 record after tying the Houston Texans last week.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are 0-1 but showed some promise in their loss to the Washington Commanders. Trevor Lawrence threw for 275 yards, and the Jaguars scored 22 points. However, stopping Jonathan Taylor is going to be a problem, so take the Colts -4.5.
New England Patriots vs. Pittsburgh Steelers – Sunday, September 18, 2022 12:00pm CST
There are several questions that we have leading into this game. The main one is whether Patriots Mac Jones will actually end up playing. He’s listed as questionable after last week’s 20-7 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
The Pittsburgh Steelers earned a tough win over the Cincinnati Bengals last week. Their defense forced five turnovers, and we see them winning this one as well. Coming in as +1.5-point favorites, you should lock in the Steelers right now.
