NFL Regular Season Week 2 Betting Outlook

In the NFL, every team has a chance to win on any given Sunday. But as we move into Week 2, some teams are starting to show their true colors. The teams that looked good in Week 1 are likely going to continue playing well, while the teams that struggled are going to have a harder time getting back on track.

That’s what makes NFL betting so interesting – anything can happen on any given Sunday. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make some educated guesses about how things will play out. So without further ado, let’s take a look at my predictions for Week 2 of the NFL season.

New York Jets vs. Cleveland Browns – September 18, 2022 12:00pm CST 

The New York Jets have a record of 0-1 to start the year, which doesn’t surprise anyone. They lost 24-9 to the Baltimore Ravens, and their offense looked lackluster again. Don’t expect much from the Jets this week either, as they face the Cleveland Browns. 

The Browns started the year with a bang, getting a huge win over the Carolina Panthers. In Week 1, they earned over 200 rushing yards, most of which were by Brown’s Nick Chubb. They’ll rely on their running game again and get a win at home over the Jets -6.5.

Washington Commanders vs. Detroit Lions – September 18, 2022 12:00pm CST

This is a pretty interesting game to watch after the Washington Commanders went 1-0. Carson Wentz had a strong game, going 27-41 with 313 yards and four touchdowns. They beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 28-22, but we’re not sure that they’re the best bet. 

The Detroit Lions faced the Philadelphia Eagles and lost 38-35. It was a great game for the Lions, however, who showcased a fast-paced offense. We’ll go with the Lions at home -1.5 over the Commanders.
