NFL Regular Season Week 5 Betting Outlook

Week 4 of the regular NFL season has been one for the books. We started Thursday off with two undefeated teams left, and now only the Philadelphia Eagles hold that title.  In addition, the Miami Dolphins received their first lost to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football.

Through out the week, we have seen everything from players being taken off the field to teams emerging as still undefeated in going into week 5. In the end, there is no telling what we destined to see going into this next week. This is what makes sports betting so interesting- that you never know what the next game is going to bring.

As we head in to the fifth week of the NFL, we are predicting to see some great games. Today, we will take a look at each of the games coming up in week 5 and share our picks.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Carolina Panthers – October 9, 2022 3:05pm CST 

The San Francisco 49ers have Jimmy Garoppolo as their starting quarterback again. With him at the helm, the 49ers’ defense should do well against Baker Mayfield and the Panthers. 

After a 26-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, we’re wondering if the Panthers will make a move soon. If they lose to the 49ers, which we think they will, there should be a change at quarterback.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Rams  – October 9, 2022 3:25pm CST

Cooper Rush has a 4-0 record as the Dallas Cowboys’ starting quarterback after Week 4. Although Dak Prescott will likely be ready to go soon, he might have a hard time getting his job back. A better case will be made for him if Rush loses to the Los Angeles Rams. 

The Rams are reestablishing themselves and building their identity this year. After a short week, they’ll face the Dallas Cowboys at home. With a strong passing offense, we’ll take the Rams over the Cowboys.
