NFL Regular Season Week 5 Betting Outlook

Week 4 of the regular NFL season has been one for the books. We started Thursday off with two undefeated teams left, and now only the Philadelphia Eagles hold that title.  In addition, the Miami Dolphins received their first lost to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football.

Through out the week, we have seen everything from players being taken off the field to teams emerging as still undefeated in going into week 5. In the end, there is no telling what we destined to see going into this next week. This is what makes sports betting so interesting- that you never know what the next game is going to bring.

As we head in to the fifth week of the NFL, we are predicting to see some great games. Today, we will take a look at each of the games coming up in week 5 and share our picks.

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Cleveland Brown – October 9, 2022 12:00pm CST 

The Los Angeles Chargers beat the Houston Texans 34-24 last week but had trouble stopping the run. Considering that’s what the Browns excel at, they’ll need to find a way to stop Nick Chubb.

The Cleveland Browns lost 23-20 to the Atlanta Falcons last week, bringing their record to 2-2. Stopping the Chargers’ passing game will be tough, so we’ll take Los Angeles in this game. 

Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings  – October 9, 2022 12:00pm CST

This NFC North battle should be an entertaining one to watch. After suffering a 20-12 loss to the New York Giants, they’ll head to Minnesota to face the 3-1 Vikings. 

Minnesota pulled off a win in London last week, beating the New Orleans Saints. It wasn’t a pretty game, but their defense did remarkably well. We’ll go with Minnesota over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
