NFL Week 6 Recap

If you have already been putting some bets in from week 6, you know it has been one for the books. We have seen some great games and a lot of action, and as we begin to near midway through the season, the fun is only beginning. Going into week 7, we are continuing to see some teams stay undefeated, while some continue to struggle. This unpredictability makes for some fun bets. We are bound to see some unpredictable matchups to that will keep us on our toes.

The sixth week of the NFL was full of action, along with a few upsets. Certain games that were considered “locks” ended up falling through the cracks, while others went according to plan.

Let’s take a look at some of our favorite games of the week during this NFL Week 6 recap.

Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Giants – 24-20 (Giants)

Both of the teams in New York earned a big win in Week 6. The Baltimore Ravens’ defense was unable to keep the Giants out of the end zone last week. QB Lamar Jackson had a rough week, passing for 210 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.

Daniel Jones, starting quarterback for the New York Giants, had a solid game. He passed for 173 yards and two touchdowns, increasing the Giants’ record to 5-1.

The Giants’ defense stayed resilient through the game, allowing just 20 points. In Week 7, they’ll face the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs – 24-20 (Bills)

Leading up to this game, we all knew how entertaining it could be. The Buffalo Bills were able to pull off a 24-20 win, led by Josh Allen. Allen went 27-40, passing for 329 yards and three touchdowns.

One of the most important factors, however, was the Bills’ defense. They forced two turnovers, both of which were interceptions thrown by the Chief’s quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.

With a defense this tough, it’s not surprising that the Bills won. Their offense made as few mistakes as possible, and they capitalized where they needed to.
