The Capitals have some rest as they last played on Wednesday and we already touched upon San Jose earlier in this article so they won’t be spoken about much here in this section. The Capitals are one of the top teams in the NHL this season with a 9-2-4 record and left winger Alex Ovechkin has been playing extremely well with 26 points (third in NHL), 12 goals (second in NHL), and 14 assists (tied for fifth in NHL) despite having line mate T.J. Oshie on the ice with him. 

Washington’s defense is also incredible as they are giving up just 2.40 goals per game with Vanecek being one of the best in the league this season. The Capitals are 11-4 against the spread this season so go with them to dominate this game on the road and cover the puck line.
