Another week, another look ahead at some of the top weekend games on the NHL slate, so today, we will take a deeper dive into a handful of games in order to figure out where we should be leaning.

Toronto Maple Leafs at Seattle Kraken

Both franchises are on the second half of a back-to-back as the Toronto Maple Leafs are playing in Vancouver on Saturday while the Seattle Kraken are hosting the Oilers on Saturday.

Seattle does not have anyone that can match up against center Auston Matthews. The defense is going to be the reason why the over hits as the Kraken are giving up 3.59 goals this season and 4.7 goals in their previous three games.

The Maple Leafs are giving up 2.55 goals per game but are allowing 4.75 goals in their previous four games. Go with the over to hit in this game as both teams can score, and the defenses are struggling lately.
