Pittsburgh Steelers vs Kansas City Chiefs Predictions

NFL Postseason Opening Weekend Outlook; Sunday, Jan. 16

How can you not love football? It’s impossible not to love football. This weekend, the NFL has blessed us with extra playoff football. We have six games instead of five because only the first seed in each conference receives a bye this year.

The games begin on Saturday with Las Vegas and Cincinnati. They conclude with a Monday night primetime battle between Arizona and Los Angeles. The betting handle is going to be huge this weekend, but before you place a wager, it’s time to start preparing.

Here is your NFL postseason opening weekend outlook. Let’s go to work!

We will look at Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs.

Pittsburgh Steelers Travel to Kansas City to Face the Chiefs

The Pittsburgh Steelers sneaked into the playoffs as the final seed in the AFC. Here are their odds and predictions vs Chiefs in the Wild Card round, as well as fans all across North America. Prior to the season finale, many fans were amazed that the Pittsburgh Steelers even had a chance and were able to make it into the postseason after such a long absence.

I was expecting the Steelers to do better against the Ravens in Week 16 of season, when these two teams met. However, despite being outclassed on offense, the Pittsburgh Steelers were unable to keep this game within three touchdowns. I’m hoping that Mike Tomlin makes some significant changes after a blowout, but there’s only so much you can do when you have a weak team that barely made the postseason.

The Steelers snuck into the playoffs by beating the Ravens, the Jaguars defeating the Colts, and the Raiders beating the Chargers. Everything that needed to happen for Pittsburgh went right on Week 18 Sunday.

With this being said, the great ones go out on their back, and Ben Roethlisberger’s career will likely end at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. The Chiefs are the favorites to come out of the AFC.

Kansas City is -12.5, which is a huge spread for playoff football. 57% of bettors think this side of the line will hit. If the Chiefs can score points, I do not see Pittsburgh being in this game for a long time.

The total is 46.5, and 53% of bettors are taking the over.
