More NBA action is on the way as we head towards the All-Star break. Both conferences have been shaken up by injuries, and now we have new leaders.

The Chicago Bulls lost their top spot in the Eastern Conference and gave it to the Brooklyn Nets. Phoenix now has a three-game lead on the Warriors in the Western Conference. Let’s check out the games we’ll cover for this week.

We’ll be starting our look ahead with a matchup between the Trail Blazers and Bulls.

Portland Trail Blazers Travels to Chicago to Face the Bulls

The Portland Trail Blazers have the No.10 spot in the Western Conference. However, they aren’t a team that performs well on the road.

They have a 5-15 record on the road currently, which doesn’t bring us much confidence as they face the Bulls. Still, this game will be pretty close as the Bulls have been hit with the injury bug.

Each of these teams is dealing with significant injuries. Damian Lillard is still out for the Trail Blazers, and Zach Lavine remains out for the Bulls. The spread will be very close, making this one essentially a pick ’em.

Trail Blazers vs Bulls Predictions

The Bulls are 16-6 at home and have a strong record against the spread at 26-18. With both teams working through injuries, we’ll go with Chicago in this one.
