Detroit Lions needed a win, and they got one on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. This was the biggest storyline of the weekend because it was their first notch in the win column. The Lions seemed like they tried to lose the game, but the Vikings did not capitalize on the mistakes.

Minnesota also made a ton of mistakes down the stretch. Detroit easily covered +7 with the win and made money line bettors happy with +220 odds. Jared Goff threw the game-winning touchdown pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown.
