Week 10 Recap Washington vs Tampa Bay & Patriots vs Browns
The tenth week of the NFL season is in the books, and things slightly returned to normalcy this week. In week nine, seven of 12 underdogs prevailed on Sunday, which was unprecedented. It was a reminder for bettors that anything can happen in the NFL. It also showed that there is not a lot of good teams in the NFL this year.
There were a few surprises this week, but things occurred as expected. This was music to bettors’ ears after Vegas made out big in week nine. Before we move on to week 11, let’s recap week ten!
The biggest upset of the week was when Washington, a 9.5 point dog, dominated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team won 29-19 and held off Tom Brady at multiple points during the game.
Brady threw two interceptions at the beginning of the game, and this set the tone. The Buccaneers were not going to have a very easy time. However, the Buccaneers should bounce back because they are still one of the best teams in the NFC.
Mac Jones was 19 of 23 for 198 yards and three touchdowns against the Browns on Sunday. This led the team to a huge win over the Browns by a 45-7 margin.
The Patriots entered the game as a 2.5 point favorite, and they easily covered this spread. New England looks like one of the best teams in the NFL, and they are improving every week. This defense is no joke, and the offense is starting to find its identity.
