St. Louis Blues at Vancouver Canucks Preview and Predictions

St. Louis Blues Travel to Vancouver to Face the Canucks

The St. Louis Blues will travel to the Rogers Arena on Wednesday night to take on the Vancouver Canucks in a Western Conference affair.

This will be the final game against one another as they also just played on March 28th in St. Louis. The Blues are currently third in the Central Division (35-20-9, 79 points), while the Canucks are fifth in the Pacific Division (32-26-9, 73 points) this season.

These teams are trying to do well as they are attempting to heat up and be in the playoff picture. Let’s take a closer look into St. Louis and Vancouver to determine which side of the game we should be betting on.

Match Preview: St. Louis Blues at Vancouver Canucks March 30th

St. Louis is being led by center Jordan Kyrou this season as he is tied for 32nd in the sport in assists and is tied for 36th in hockey in points as he has posted 62 points (22 goals, 40 assists) while adding three points in his last four games. As a team, they are scoring 3.50 goals on 30.7 shots thus far.

Goalie Jordan Binnington has been struggling as he is 13-13-4 with 3.14 goals allowed per game and a .901 save percentage. Defensively, the Blues are giving up 2.88 goals on 31.3 shot attempts right now.

The Canucks are averaging 2.82 goals on 32.2 shot attempts this season. Center J.T. Miller has been playing well as the leader of their team as he is tied for 24th in the league in goals, ninth in all of hockey in assists, and tied for eighth in the sport in points as he has recorded 80 points (28 goals, 52 assists) while scoring seven points in his previous four games. Vancouver is doing decently well as they are allowing 2.81 goals on 31.9 shots thus far.

Goaltender Thatcher Demko has put together a decent season up to this point as he is 28-19-5 with a .917 save percentage and 2.66 goals allowed per game.

St. Louis Blues at Vancouver Canucks Betting Prediction

Jordan Kyrou should be able to do well and score the puck extremely well against this decent defensive team. The Blues need to improve defensively as they are allowing 4.8 goals in their last four games while the Canucks are giving up 1.7 goals in their previous three games.

Another big number to look at is the fact that St. Louis is killing 82.4 percent of all penalties against them while Vancouver is killing 72.3 percent of all penalties against them this season.

All in all, go with the St. Louis Blues to go on the road and cover the puck line.
