The New Orleans Saints were coming off a dominant road win against the Green Bay Packers in Week 1 and struggled to move the ball against the Carolina Panthers here.
The Panthers were a three-point home underdog as the game kicked off, and their defense was incredible as they forced Jameis Winston to go 11-of-22 for 111 yards and a pair of interceptions but also ran three times for 19 yards and a touchdown on the ground. They also held running back Alvin Kamara to just five yards on eight carries.
Sam Darnold has been incredible so far this season as he is 26-of-38 for 305 yards with a pair of touchdowns and an interception. Carolina improved to 2-0 after winning here 26-7 and could be an incredibly scary team going under the radar in a lot of people’s eyes.
