NCAA Basketball Look Ahead; Saturday, Jan. 15 12:00pm CST
The college basketball season is already underway, and conference play is now fully on the schedule. Over the last several weeks, there have been a lot of surprises, and that isn’t going to stop anytime soon. As we’ve progressed through the season, there have been some major upsets, and the week ahead is shaping up to be even more spectacular.
Below, we will look at Tennessee Volunteers and Kentucky Wildcats.
Tennessee Volunteers Travels to Kentucky to Face the Wildcats
The Tennessee Volunteers travel to take on the Kentucky Wildcats in what will be a great SEC matchup. The Volunteers are 11-4 on the season and are 2-2 in conference play thus far.
The Wildcats are 13-3 on the season while they sit at 3-1 in SEC play. Tennessee is ranked #18 in the country, and Kentucky is ranked #18. Both Tennessee and Kentucky lost to LSU in early January as their last loss.
Tennessee is scoring 75.3 points a game and allowing 60.7 points a game. Kentucky is scoring 82.6 points a game and is allowing 62.1 points a game. This should be a very evenly matched game, but I would lean to the Wildcats to take care of business at home.
