NFL Week 16 Recap 49ers, Titans, Browns, and Packers
We have just two weeks left of NFL action remaining before the playoffs. The season has flown by, but we still have time to finish the betting year strong. Before we focus on Week 17, let’s take a look back at the 16th week of games.
Here is your Week 16 betting recap!
Titans Find a Way at Home
Jimmy Garoppolo looked like he wanted the Tennessee Titans to win on Thursday. Garoppolo was horrendous in the pocket and threw two bad interceptions. This helped the Titans prevail and cover +3.
Titans money line bettors were very happy with +135 odds. San Francisco dominated the game and started strong, but they collapsed late and were -2 in the turnover margin. This is not a recipe for winning football. Tennessee was victorious at home 20-17.
Cleveland Covers Against Green Bay
The Green Bay Packers are one of the best teams in the NFL ATS, but they have hit a rough patch when it comes to covering. The Packers dominated the first half against the Browns, but Cleveland came alive in the second half thanks to Nick Chubb.
The Cleveland Browns were +7.5, and they covered with ease, losing by two points. Aaron Rodgers did set the franchise record for touchdown passes on Sunday, passing Brett Favre. The game also stayed just under the 46.5 point total.
