The Minnesota Timberwolves have recently taken two rough losses and need to improve morale. The good news for them is they’re facing the Washington Wizards on Monday night. Minnesota has one of the best offenses in the NBA, which we’ll talk more about below. They’ll look to use this offense against the Wizards, who are without their top scorer. We think the short answer to the question is yes, but not that the Wizards will win this time. However, we think they’ll cover depending on how large the spread is. The Timberwolves will be playing multiple road games in a row, taking a toll on energy. Because of this, they could start the game flat against the Washington Wizards. This leaves a small opening for the Wizards.

Betting on the total is interesting here because of the previous game. In the last game, the total was set at 217, and it went over. Because of this, we’ll take the over again in this one as long as it’s set around 220. You wouldn’t want to take the over if the total was set at 225 in this one.
