Week 11 Recap Patriots vs Falcons and Lions vs Browns

The 11th week of NFL action is complete, and there were numerous surprises for bettors. Underdogs had an intense week, but favorites were not horrendous as we have seen in past slates. We have made it to Thanksgiving week football, but before discussing the games, let’s recap week 11.

The Patriots are Back

The New England Patriots were seven-point favorites on the road against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night. Many people choose to bet numbers and not teams. Seven points is a large spread for many teams to cover, which caused bettors to fade the Patriots.

However, Mac Jones, Bill Belichick, and company shined, winning 25-0 on the road. New England is now back in first place in the AFC East and being viewed as contenders in the league.

Lions Cover Against Browns

The Lions have been decent ATS this season, and they proved this on Sunday. The team was +13 against the Browns and ended up losing by three. Yet, they were in the game throughout the day and had many opportunities to win.

Tim Boyle started at quarterback because of an injury to Jared Goff. This limited Detroit’s play-calling ability. However, a cover is a cover, so Lions’ bettors should not be complaining.
