The Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings are two of the most exciting teams in the NFL. Furthermore,they’re set to face off in Week 5 in a matchup. All in all, this matchup could have playoff implications. In the end, the Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions, and they’re looking to get back to their winning ways. The Vikings are finally off the losing streak after winning their first game of the season last week, and they’re looking to build on that momentum.

Mahomes Leads Chiefs

The Chiefs are led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is one of the most talented players in the NFL. Mahomes has thrown for 1,123 yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions in four games. He’s also been a good runner, with 107 yards and one touchdown on the ground.

The Chiefs’ running game has been one of their weaknesses this season, as they’re averaging just 102.3 yards per game on the ground. Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been the Chiefs’ lead back, but he’s been struggling to find his rhythm this season.

The Chiefs vs. Vikings game in Week 5 is one of the most anticipated games of the season. All in all, both teams have the potential to be Super Bowl contenders, and this game could be a preview of a playoff matchup. In the end, I think that the Vikings have a chance to win, yet I am going to pick the Chiefs this week. They have been coming to play this season and we think they will do it again this week.
