The Green Bay Packers and Las Vegas Raiders are two of the most storied franchises in the NFL, but they’re also two of the most struggling teams in the league heading into Week 5. The Packers are 2-2, and the Raiders are 1-3. Both teams are looking to get back on track, and this game could be a turning point in their seasons.

Let’s take a look at our predictions for this week Monday night football matchup…

Packer’s Running Game 

The Packers’ running game has been one of their weaknesses this season, as they’re averaging just 104.3 yards per game on the ground. Aaron Jones has been the Packers’ lead back, but he’s been struggling to get going this season.

The Packers’ defense has been one of their strengths this season, as they’re allowing just 22.0 points per game, which is 13th in the league. They’ve also forced 10 turnovers, which is tied for the second-most in the league.

The Raiders’ running game has been one of their strengths this season, as they’re averaging 130.8 yards per game on the ground. Furthermore, Josh Jacobs has been the Raiders’ lead back, and he’s been one of the most consistent running backs in the NFL so far this season.

The Raiders’ defense has been one of their weaknesses this season, as they’re allowing 26.0 points per game, which is 27th in the league. In addition, they’ve also forced just six turnovers, which is tied for the fewest in the league.

  • Aaron Jones vs. Raiders defense: Jones is one of the best running backs in the NFL, and he’s going to be a tough challenge for the Raiders defense. The Raiders have a good run defense, but they’re not as good as the run defenses that Jones has faced so far this season.
  • Davante Adams vs. Packers defense: Adams is one of the best receivers in the NFL, and he’s going to be a tough cover for the Packer’s defense. The Packers have a good secondary. Yet, they’re not as good as the secondaries that Adams has faced so far this season.

All in all, this is a tough game to predict, as the Packers and Raiders are both evenly matched teams. However, I think the Packers have a slight edge in this matchup. The Packers have a better defense than the Raiders, and their running game is just as good. Therefore, I think the Packers will be able to win this game by a score of 26-21.
