Celtics at Nuggets, Jazz at Knicks, Suns at Kings, Stars at Capitals, Jets at Blackhawks, Sabres at Canucks

There are quite a few really good games on tap for Sunday. We look at some of those games here and see if the odds are something you should bet or not.

Boston Celtics at Denver Nuggets

The Boston Celtics continue their west coast swing on Sunday as they take on the Denver Nuggets this evening. The Celtics have gone out west and beaten the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings in very easy fashion. The Nuggets are happy to be back home as they are coming off of an overtime loss on the road to the Cleveland Cavaliers. This is a game between two of the top teams in the league as the Celtics are 43-28 and the Nuggets are 42-29 this year. Look for the Celtics to continue their winning ways as I would take them -3 on the road.

Utah Jazz at New York Knicks

The Utah Jazz starts an east coast swing as they are taking on the New York Knicks this evening. The Jazz are 44-26 on the season while the Knicks have struggled quite a bit this year at 30-40. The Jazz are one of the worst road teams in the league that is currently a lock for the playoffs. They are just 18-15 on the road this season. This seems to me like the Jazz should easily cover, however, the public consensus is 97% on the Jazz. Take the Knicks to cover the +5.0 point spread at home.

Phoenix Suns at Sacramento Kings

The Phoenix Suns take on the Sacramento Kings tonight in what should be a game that is decided early. The Suns are 57-14 on the season while the Kings are 25-47. The Suns have easily raced out this year to have the best record in the NBA while the Kings continue to really struggle. The Suns have also won four games in a row while the Kings have lost four of their last five. This should be a game where Devin Booker is able to take over. Take the Suns to cover the -10.5 point spread.

Dallas Stars at Washington Capitals

The Dallas Stars head off to take on the Washington Capitals early this evening in what should turn out to be a very good game. The Stars are 33-24-3 on the year while the Capitals are 35-18-10. The Stars have been really bad on the road this year, however, as they sit at 13-16-2 on away ice. The Stars have also been faltering losing four of their last five and the Capitals are on a four-game win streak. Take the Capitals to cover the -1.5 puck line today.

Winnipeg Jets at Chicago Blackhawks

The Winnipeg Jets take on the Chicago Blackhawks this evening in what is going to be a very competitive hockey match. Both of these teams have been struggling so far this season and are not having the season that they wanted to have coming into the year. The Jets are sitting at 28-24-10 while the Blackhawks are 22-31-9 this year. Both of these teams are struggling as of late so I am going with the home team here. Take the Blackhawks to cover the +1.5 puck line.

Buffalo Sabres at Vancouver Canucks

The Buffalo Sabres take on the Vancouver Canucks tonight in what should be a very solid game. The Sabres are coming into this one with some momentum while the Canucks have been sliding recently. The Sabres are 21-33-8 on the season and come in as winners in three of their last four games. The Canucks are 30-26-7 on the season and have lost four of their last five games. Even though these teams are a bit apart in the record, it is easy to see which team is performing better right now. The Sabres just seem like they can’t be stopped and the Canucks are struggling to score goals. Take the Sabres to come in and cover the +1.5 puck line tonight.
