The Brooklyn Nets hit the road this evening as they take on the Memphis Grizzlies. These teams have had a really good last few games as they are both 4-1 in the last five games. The Nets are in eighth place in the Eastern Conference and are 38-34 on the season. The Grizzlies are 49-23 and are in second place in the Western Conference. This is a stellar matchup, but I think the home team will come out on top. Take Memphis to cover the +1 point spread.
The Golden State Warriors continue their road trip with a meeting against the Miami Heat. The Warriors are 47-25 this season but are just 18-16 on the road. The Heat are 47-25 this season but are a very good 26-9 at home. This, on paper, looks like it will be a lopsided game, but you can never count the Warriors out. Take the Warriors to cover the +7 point spread this evening.
The Phoenix Suns head into Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves this evening in what will be a clash between what have been two of the hottest teams in the NBA. This season, the Suns are 58-14, and the Timberwolves are 42-31. The Suns have won their last five games, while the Timberwolves have won four of their previous five games. The Suns are favored by a few points, but I think this one will be the Suns to lose. Take the Suns to cover the -1.5 point spread.
The Chicago Blackhawks head out west to take on the Anaheim Ducks in what should be a very close game. The Blackhawks have struggled so far this season, and it does not look to be changing anytime soon. The Ducks have also struggled as they have lost their last five games. The Blackhawks are 22-32-9, while the Ducks sit at 27-27-11. Take the Blackhawks to cover the +1.5 puck line on the road.
The Vancouver Canucks head out to take on the Colorado Avalanche this evening as they look to get off of their three-game slide. The Canucks are 30-26-8 this season, while the Avalanche are one of the best teams in the league at 45-13-5. The Avalanche have won four games in a row and have covered the spread in four of those five. Take the Canucks to cover the -1.5 puck line in this one.
The Pittsburgh Penguins head off to take on the Buffalo Sabres this evening in what should be a close battle despite the records. The Penguins are 39-16-9 this season, while the Sabres are 22-33-8 this year. The Penguins are 4-1 over the last five games, and the Sabres are 4-1 in the previous five games. This should be a hotly contested contest as both of these teams are very hot. Take the Penguins to come into this one and cover the -1.5 puck line.
Enjoy the games! Best of luck!!
