The NFL is heading into Week 15, and things are heating up in the playoff race. As we near the end of the regular season, let’s take a look at a few games that could make a significant impact.
Buffalo Bills (-7) over Miami Dolphins
There are three games that are being played on Saturday, and this is one of them. The Miami Dolphins are the road team here, heading into the cold to face the Buffalo Bills.
With a record of 8-5 this season, they’ll look to get a win over an AFC East rival. The Dolphins, however, are coming off of two straight losses, including one to the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Buffalo Bills have one of the best offenses in the NFL, averaging 27.2 points per game. What many fail to remember, however, is that they only allow 17 points per game.
With a strong defense to back up their offense, they’re the better pick here. They’ve also won three of their last four games by seven points or more.
Los Angeles Chargers (-3) over Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans head into this game with a record of 7-6 this season. Over the last few weeks, the Titans have taken a significant step back.
They’ve lost their last three games and average just 18.5 yards per game. In our opinion, they’ll have a lot of trouble keeping up with the Chargers’ offense.
Interestingly enough, the Los Angeles Chargers have the same record as the Tennessee Titans. Over the last five games, the Chargers have a record of 2-3.
They’re coming off a big win over the Miami Dolphins and have a fairly strong offense. As long as they can stop Derrick Henry, the Chargers should win this game.
Los Angeles Rams (+7) over Green Bay Packers
The Los Angeles Rams have a record of 4-9 after their win last week. Although they’re 1-4 on the road, they’re beginning to turn things around.
Last week, they pulled off a 17-16 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. With Baker Mayfield under center, we think they’ll be able to keep up with the Packers this weekend.
The Green Bay Packers have also performed a bit better over the last few weeks. They still have a record of 5-8, well under .500, but they just beat the Chicago Bears.
They’ve gone 2-3 over their last five games, and their offense isn’t very good. Look for the Packers to win this game but for the Rams to cover the spread.
