Here’s an overview of some of the top games in sports being played on June 15. Today, we’re taking a closer look at five games from Major League Baseball and the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Kansas City Royals at San Francisco Giants – 3:45 PM ET

The first game of our daily sports bets is between the Royals and Giants. Kansas City has a record of 20-41 this season, with a road record of 8-20. Considering they perform so poorly on the road, it shouldn’t be a shock they’ve lost their last two games. Tonight, they’ll start the 1-3 Jonathan Heasley on the mound. Heasley has an ERA of 3.62 over 32.1 innings.

The San Francisco Giants, however, have a 19-13 record at home this year. They’ve won five straight games, increasing their record to 35-26. The pitcher for tonight’s game has yet to be decided, but the Giants should be just fine. Between these two, San Francisco is a much better team, so we’ll take them.

Minnesota Twins vs. Seattle Mariners – 4:10 PM ET

The following game of the day is the Minnesota Twins against the Seattle Mariners. This is shaping up to be quite a series with the current record at 1-1. The Twins lost yesterday’s game 5-0 after the bats and pitching weren’t up to snuff. On the mound tonight is Sonny Gray, who has a 3-1 record as a starter this season.

The Mariners did really well against the Twins pitching yesterday. However, the more important thing is they didn’t allow the Twins any runs. Taking the mound tonight is Marco Gonzales, who is 3-6 this season. Although his record as a starter isn’t great, Gonzales has an ERA of 3.63, which is rather impressive. We’ll take the Mariners again tonight +115.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. New York Yankees – 7:05 PM ET

This game should be quite an entertaining one to watch. The Rays are coming off of a 2-0 loss yesterday to the Yankees. However, Tampa Bay beat the Twins 6-0 in the game just before that. The Rays are a tough team with their batters hitting .232 this season. Although that’s not quite as good as the Yankees, the Rays can still compete.

The New York Yankees’ batters will have to face Shane McClanahan of the Rays. McClanahan has a record of 7-2 this season with an ERA of 1.87. However, the Yankees are sending out an ace of their own, Nestor Cortes. Cortes has a record of 5-2 with an ERA of 1.96 this season. It’s going to be a game worth watching, but we’ll take the Rays +125.

Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Colorado Avalanche – 8:00 PM ET

We begin the Stanley Cup Finals tonight between the Colorado Avalanche and Tampa Bay Lightning. Each of these teams has things they do well, for the Lightning, its defense. On average, the Lightning only allows 2.78 goals per game, which is quite impressive. However, they might have a bit of trouble stopping the Avalanche.

Colorado made quick work of Edmonton through the previous series. Frankly, their prowess over Edmonton was rather shocking. After a 4-0 sweep, the Avalanche got to take some time off and prepare for this series. With the extra preparation and the fact that they’re playing at home, we’ll take the Avalanche -160.

Cleveland Guardians vs. Colorado Rockies – 8:40 PM ET

The final game we’ll go over is the Cleveland Guardians against the Colorado Rockies. The Guardians won yesterday’s game 4-3 in the 10th inning. Yesterday’s win earned the Guardians their fourth win in five games. Cleveland will start Konnor Pilkington, who has a record of 1-0 with an ERA of 3.57.

The Colorado Rockies will send out Austin Gomber, who is 3-6 as a starter. Gomber, with an ERA of 6.17 isn’t a good match for the batters of the Guardians. Cleveland’s hitters are averaging .250 this season, among the best in MLB. The Rockies have a better average, but much worse pitching. We’ll take Cleveland – 110 in tonight’s game.
