It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Friday’s schedule.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Miami Marlins – 6:40 PM ET

The Los Angeles Dodgers have an 86-37 record, leading the NL West. Today, they’ll start their series against the Miami Marlins after a 12-6 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. On the mound tonight is Tyler Anderson, who has a 13-2 record with a 2.73 ERA this season.

The Miami Marlins are 54-70 with a 25-33 record at home. Miami has yet to name their starting pitcher but frankly, it won’t matter much. With Anderson on the mound for the Dodgers, they’re easily the much better pick in tonight’s game. Don’t forget that the Dodgers have a team batting average of .262 compared to the Marlins .231.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Washington Nationals – 7:05 PM ET

After four straight losses, the Cincinnati Reds face the Washington Nationals tonight. Yesterday, the Reds suffered a 4-0 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. Now, with Mike Minor on the mound, they’ll hope to break the losing streak. The only problem is Minor is 2-10 this season with a 6.44 ERA.

Cade Cavalli, who has yet to pitch a single inning, will start for the Washington Nationals. The Nationals do, however, have some good batters to back him up. One of these batters is Josh Bell, who has a .301 batting average this season. Although Cavalli is making his first start today, we’ll take the Nationals at home -140.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Boston Red Sox – 7:10 PM ET

With a 69-55 record, the Tampa Bay Rays are ranked second in the AL East. They’ve won six games in a row so far but have played the Kansas City Royals and Los Angeles Angels. Not to say that those teams don’t have talented players but they’re not the Boston Red Sox. Getting the start on the mound tonight is JT Chargois, who has only pitched 2.2 innings.

The Boston Red Sox have a record of 60-65 and are at the bottom of the AL East. This team has incredible batting, however, especially from Rafael Devers. On the mound is Michael Wacha, whose 8-1 record and 2.28 ERA puts him among the best in MLB. With Wacha on the mound, we’ll take the Red Sox -125.

Atlanta Braves vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 8:15 PM ET

Both of these teams rank toward the top in their respective divisions. The Atlanta Braves, with a record of 78-48 are second in the NL East. They’ve won four of their last five games and are slowly catching up to the New York Mets. The 7-4 Spencer Strider will get the start tonight, Strider has an ERA of 2.95 this season.

The St. Louis Cardinals have a 72-53 record with a 40-21 record at home. They’ll send the 4-5 Jose Quintana out to the mound today, who has an ERA of 3.45. The Cardinals also have a slightly better batting group than the Braves, batting .259. Although the Cardinals are at home, we’ll take the Braves on the road at -145.

New York Yankees vs. Oakland Athletics – 9:40 PM ET

The New York Yankees broke their losing streak with four straight wins. Last night, they decimated the Oakland Athletics 13-4. Tonight, they’ll have Gerrit Cole on the mound, who is 9-6 this season with a 3.41 ERA. Keep in mind that the Yankees also have some of the best batters in MLB as well.

The Oakland Athletics are starting their ace, JP Sears. Sears has an ERA of 1.93 with a record of 5-0 over the course of 37.1 innings. Although Sears is good, he doesn’t have a strong batting group to back him up. We’ll take the Yankees on the road tonight -235.
