It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Monday’s schedule.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Reds – 6:40 PM ET

With a record of 74-54, the St. Louis Cardinals are first in the NL Central. Tonight, they face the Cincinnati Reds, who are fourth in the division. On the mound for the Cardinals is Miles Mikolas, who has an ERA of 3.35 and a 10-10 record. One of the most important keys in this game is the Cardinals’ batting lineup, which has an average of .259.

On the mound for the 50-76 Cincinnati Reds is Chase Anderson, who has yet to pitch a single inning. Considering we’ve yet to see Anderson take the mound, the better bet is the Cardinals. With them, we know who we’re getting at the starting pitching position and we know how good their batters are. Go with the Cardinals in Game 1 of this series at -220.

Boston Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins – 7:40 PM ET

The Boston Red Sox have lost three of their last five games. The recent string of losses has brought their record down to 62-66, fifth in the AL East. Tonight, they’ll have the 0-3 Brayan Bello on the mound for them. Bello has an ERA of 7.36 over the course of 22.0 innings.

The Red Sox face the Minnesota Twins tonight, who have a record of 65-61. Although it’s not a much better record than the Red Sox, it’s still above .500. On the mound for the Twins is the 7-6 Dylan Bundy, who has an ERA of 4.56. We’ll take the Twins in this one at -135.

New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels – 9:38 PM ET

The New York Yankees lost their final two games in a series against the Oakland Athletics. Still, with a record of 78-50, the Yankees rank first in the AL East. Tonight, they face the Los Angeles Angels, Frankie Montas will get the nod at the starting pitcher position. In our opinion, the more important factor for the Yankees is their batting lineup which is hitting .241 right now.

The Los Angeles Angels are sending out Jose Suarez to start tonight’s game. Suarez has a record of 4-6 this season with a 4.19 ERA over the course of 73 innings. The Angels are hitting .228, putting them at quite a disadvantage. We’ll take the Yankees on the road tonight over the Angels at -190.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks – 9:40 PM ET

The Philadelphia Phillies have a record of 72-56 this season. Over their last five games, they’ve gone 4-1 before tonight’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Yesterday, however, the Phillies lost 5-0 to the Pittsburgh Pirates, so keep that in mind. On the mound for the Phillies is Ranger Suarez, who has an ERA of 3.38 and a record of 8-5.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have a 32-32 record at home this season. They’re also 4-1 over their last five games and will start Madison Bumgarner tonight. Bumgarner has a record of 6-13 with a 4.53 ERA. Between these two teams, the Phillies are the more skilled unit so we’ll take them -190.

San Diego Padres vs. San Francisco Giants – 9:45 PM ET

Our final game of the night is between the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants. The Padres, who have a record of 70-59, are starting Mike Clevinger, who is 4-5 this season. Clevinger has an ERA of 3.59 but has performed poorly over recent games. The Padres have also lost three of their last five games.

The San Francisco Giants have a 61-65 record with a 34-29 record at home. On the mound tonight is the 12-6 Carlos Rodon who has an ERA of 2.81. Between Clevinger and Rodon, the Giants definitely have the better pitcher. Because of this, we’ll take the Giants at home -135.
