It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Tuesday’s schedule.

Miami Marlins vs. Philadelphia Phillies – 7:05 PM ET

The Miami Marlins have a record of 49-59 this season and are 26-31 on the road. Tonight, they’ll begin their series against the 60-48 Philadelphia Phillies. On the mound tonight is Braxton Garrett, who has a 2-5 record this season. Although his record isn’t great, he does has an ERA of 3.88 this season.

Although Garrett’s ERA is pretty good, the Phillies starting pitcher has him beat. Zack Wheeler will get the start on the mound tonight with a record of 10-5. More impressive than his record is his 2.69 ERA. The Phillies also have a significant advantage at the plate, batting .250 this season. We’ll go with the Philadelphia Phillies at -240 this season.

Atlanta Braves vs. Boston Red Sox – 7:10 PM ET

One of our favorite games of the day is the Atlanta Braves versus the Boston Red Sox. The Braves have a record of 64-46 and rank second in the NL East. After suffering three straight losses, the Braves desperately need a win. The good news is they’ll have Charlie Morton on the mound tonight. Morton is 5-5 this season with an ERA of 4.09 over the span of 116.2 innings.

The Boston Red Sox have also struggled this season, going 1-4 in their last five games. The 4-5 Rich Hill will get the start on the mound for the Red Sox today. Hill has an ERA of 4.52 over the course of 73.2 innings. Boston does, however, have a slight advantage over the Braves in terms of batting. Still, the Braves on the road are the better pick in this game at -160.

Cincinnati Reds vs. New York Mets – 7:10 PM ET

Between the Cincinnati Reds and New York Mets it’s easy to see who the favorites are. The Reds have struggled this season but have won two of their last three games. Yesterday, they suffered a 5-1 loss to the Mets, so keep that in mind. Getting the start tonight is the 1-8 Mike Minor, who has an ERA of 6.19 this season.

With Minor on the mound, the Reds chances of winning this game are slim. It also doesn’t help that the Mets are starting Carlos Carrasco, who is 12-4 this season. With Carrasco on the mound, the Mets have a pitcher with an ERA of 3.82 leading the game. New York is also better at the plate and has gone 36-18 at home. We’ll go with the Mets at -335 tonight.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Colorado Rockies – 8:40 PM ET

Currently on a seven-game winning streak, the St. Louis Cardinals are red hot. Tonight, they’ll head out to Colorado to face the Rockies after beating the Yankees 12-9 last night. St. Louis is a strong team with a ton of talented players. One of these talented guys is Miles Mikolas, who is 8-8 with an ERA of 2.92 this season.

Mikolas could have some trouble against the Rockies batters. This season, Colorado has a team batting average of .262, ranking as one of the best in the league. However, pitching is a big problem for the Rockies. Ryan Feltner will get the start tonight, Feltner is 1-3 this season with a 5.75 ERA. Between these two, the Cardinals are a much better pick at -190.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Arizona Diamondbacks – 9:40 PM ET

The Pittsburgh Pirates are down 0-1 in this series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Last night’s game ended in a 3-0 loss for the 44-65 Pirates. Getting the start on the mound tonight is Zach Thompson, who has a record of 3-8 this season. His ERA of 5.15 is concerning but it’s not nearly as bad as who the Diamondbacks are starting.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have a record of 49-59 this season. At home they’ve gone 30-28, so keep that in mind. The biggest problem we see with the Diamondbacks is who their starting pitcher is. On the mound tonight is Tommy Henry, who is 0-1 with an ERA of 7.20 over just five innings pitched. This will be a close game but we’ll take the Pirates at +135.
