It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Sunday’s schedule.

Tampa Bay Rays at Toronto Blue Jays – 1:37 PM ET

Kicking off our MLB bets of the day is the game between the Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays. The Rays, with a record of 42-36 have already won two games over the Blue Jays. The most recent win was an 11-5 victory yesterday. If they can win again today, they’ll have swept the Blue Jays in a three-game series. On the mound for the Rays tonight is the 0-1 Shane Baz.

The Blue Jays won’t go down without a fight, especially with Ross Stripling on the mound. Stripling has an ERA of 3.12 with a 4-2 record this season. Compared to Baz, Stripling has the better record and ERA. The Blue Jays are also a better batting team with an average of .258. Because of this, we’ll take the Blue Jays tonight at -135.

Atlanta Braves at Cincinnati Reds – 1:40 PM ET

The Atlanta Braves have a record of 46-33 and are ranked second in the NL East. Tonight, they’ll face the 26-51 Cincinnati Reds in the final game of the series. At the moment, the Braves lead the series 2-0, one more win and they’ll complete the sweep. Charlie Morton, the 4-3 RHP with an ERA of 4.73 will take the mound for the Braves tonight.

The Cincinnati Reds have lost four of their last five games and have suffered four straight losses. Facing the Braves tonight won’t be easy, especially with Morton taking the mound. The Reds will start Luis Castillo today, who has a 3-4 record. Castillo has an ERA of 3.32 but we still think the Braves -160 is the better bet.

Arizona Diamondbacks at Colorado Rockies – 3:10 PM ET

The Arizona Diamondbacks face the Colorado Rockies in an NL West showdown today. Each of these teams is near the bottom of the division, which ramps up the intensity. The Diamondbacks beat the Rockies in the first game of the series 9-3. On the mound tonight is Zac Gallen, who is 4-2 as a starter with an ERA of 3.32 this season.

With Gallen on the mound for the Diamondbacks, the Rockies might have some trouble. Chad Kuhl gets the nod for them today with a record of 5-5 and an ERA of 3.49. The good news is the batters of the Rockies are among the best in Major League Baseball. As a team, the Rockies have a batting average of .261, so we’ll take the Rockies +100.

San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Dodgers – 4:10 PM ET

Another NL West game worth watching is the San Diego Padres at the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Padres rank second in the NL West with a 46-34 record this season. When traveling, the Padres are 25-18 this season, however, they’ve lost their last three. Each of those losses was to the Los Angeles Dodgers as well. The Padres will start MacKenzie Gore (4-3) on the mound.

It’s good that the Padres are starting Gore as he gives them a good chance to win. However, the Dodgers batters have been impressive lately, averaging five runs in their last three games. On the mound for the Dodgers is the 5-2 Clayton Kershaw, increasing the Dodgers’ odds to win. Los Angeles comes in as heavy -205 favorites, but they’re definitely the best bet.

St. Louis Cardinals at Philadelphia Phillies – 7:00 PM ET

Our final game of the day is between the Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies. The Cardinals, 44-36, have split the series so far with the Phillies 1-1. They’ll send out Adam Wainwright, who is 6-5 with an ERA of 3.07 this season. Their batters have a slight edge on the Phillies as well, with a team batting average of .254. However, they still come in as the underdogs tonight.

A reason for that could be the fact that the Phillies are starting Zack Wheeler. Wheeler is 6-4 this season with an ERA of 2.89. He’s thrown 94 strikeouts in 81 innings and has allowed only five home runs this year. Still, the Cardinals batters have the edge here and Wainwright is a strong pitcher too. We’ll go with the Cardinals and take the +135 odds.
