It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Tuesday’s schedule.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Miami Marlins – 6:40 PM ET

To begin our best bets of the day we’ll see the Los Angeles Angels at the Miami Marlins. The Angels, with a record of 37-44 have lost their last three games. In total, they’ve lost four of their last five games this season. On the mound tonight is the 5-6 Noah Syndergaard, who has his work cut out for him tonight.

For the Marlins, Sandy Alcantara, who is 8-3 will get the nod as the starter. Alcantara has an ERA of 1.95 which is one of the most impressive ERAs in MLB. They also have a slight edge over the Angels in terms of batting average as well. With a .245 team batting average, the best bet here is the Marlins at -145.

New York Mets vs. Cincinnati Reds – 6:40 PM ET

The New York Mets are one of the best teams in the league at the moment. After a 7-4 win over the Reds yesterday, the Mets will look for another win against them. The good news for New York is that Max Scherzer will be on the mound today. Scherzer has a record of 5-1 as a starter with an ERA of 2.54. The Mets batters have an average of .256 this season.

Going against the New York Mets won’t be easy for the Reds. Cincinnati has lost four of its last five games including the recent loss to the Mets. Nick Lodolo will get the start for the Reds tonight with a record of 1-2 as a starter this year. Between these two teams, the Mets are the easy choice at -210.

New York Yankees vs. Pittsburgh Pirates – 7:05 PM ET

A game that should be pretty interesting is the New York Yankees at the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Yankees, 58-22, are only a few games away from 60 wins. However, the Pirates have given teams a bit of trouble. The Yankees come off of a 2-0 loss to the Cleveland Guardians but will start Jameson Taillon. Taillon has a record of 9-1 this season with a 3.32 ERA.

The Pittsburgh Pirates and its batters will have a tough time against Taillon. As a team, the Pirates have a batting average of .221, which is pretty awful. However, in recent games, the Pirates have shown that they can put runs together. They beat the Milwaukee Brewers 7-4 only a few days ago. Still, the Yankees are the better pick here at -210.

Cleveland Guardians vs. Detroit Tigers – 7:10 PM ET

The Cleveland Guardians and the Detroit Tigers are set for a good matchup. The Guardians, with a record of 40-38, rank second in the AL Central. The 4-4 Cal Quantrill will get the start for the Guardians tonight, Quantrill has a 3.72 ERA. As a group, the Guardians are batting an impressive .242 this season. However, they lost to the Tigers 5-3 yesterday.

After a big win over the Guardians yesterday, the Tigers will look to do it again. They have a record of 32-47 with a 21-24 record at home. They’ve won three of their last five games this season and will start Drew Hutchison. Hutchison is 0-4 as a starter with an ERA of 4.81. Due to pitching, the Guardians (-160) are a better bet tonight.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:20 PM ET

The last game we’ll take a look at is the St. Louis Cardinals against the Atlanta Braves. The Cardinals, with a record of 44-38, lost 6-3 to the Braves yesterday. As a team, the Cardinals are batting .253 this season, so it was a surprising loss. On the mound tonight is Andre Pallante, who is 2-3 with an ERA of 2.10.

Although Pallante’s record isn’t incredible, there’s no denying his impressive ERA. On the opposite side of him is Ian Anderson, who is 6-5 this season. Although Anderson has an over .500 record, his ERA of 5.31 is concerning. Still, with the way the Braves have played, we like their odds at home tonight at -145.
