It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Wednesday’s schedule.

Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox – 2:10 PM ET

The Minnesota Twins are only three games away from going over 50 wins. At the moment, they have a record of 47-37 and rank first in the AL Central. Tonight, they play the Chicago White Sox, a team with a 38-41 record. The Twins will also be sending out one of their better pitchers, Joe Ryan. Ryan is 6-3 as a starter this season with an ERA of 3.00.

The White Sox have a 16-23 record when playing at home, which doesn’t give us much confidence. On the mound tonight is Lance Lynn, who is 1-1 as a starter this season. Lynn has an ERA of 4.50 over the course of 22.0 innings. The White Sox do, however, have an advantage in terms of batting. Still, the Twins at -115 is our pick for this one.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Oakland Athletics – 3:37 PM ET

The Toronto Blue Jays rank fourth in the AL East with a record of 44-38 this season. In order to keep climbing, they’ll need a win against the Athletics tonight. Toronto’s Jose Berrios will get the start today, Berrios is 6-4 as a starter this season. With an over .500 record, the Blue Jays are in good shape to win this one. However, Berrios’ 5.72 ERA is slightly concerning.

The Oakland Athletics have won three of their last five games this season. With an overall record of 28-55, this season hasn’t gone well for them. It’s important to note that two of their last five wins were against the Blue Jays. Yesterday they beat Toronto 5-3 and the day before they won the game 5-1. We think the Blue Jays will turn it around and win tonight at -190.

New York Mets vs. Cincinnati Reds – 6:40 PM ET

Jumping ahead in the day, we have a game between the New York Mets and Cincinnati Reds. The Mets are coming off of a 1-0 loss to the Cincinnati Reds yesterday, a game they should’ve won. The 5-1 David Peterson will get the start for them today, Peterson has an ERA of 3.24. The real hope is that the Mets’ batters perform much better.

The Reds have an ability to beat great teams, this is something we’ve seen a few times. Not long ago they notched a 4-3 win over the Atlanta Braves. Even with the Mets starting Peterson, we can’t count out the Reds too quickly. Graham Ashcraft, who is 4-2, will get the start on the mound tonight, so we’ll take Cincinnati +143.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:00 PM ET

The St. Louis Cardinals have lost three games in a row, two of which were to the Braves. Yesterday’s game ended in a 7-1 loss handed to them by the Braves. Not only could the batters of the Cardinals not keep up, but their pitching also struggled as well. Tonight they’ll have Miles Mikolas on the mound. Mikolas is under .500 as a starter but has an ERA of 2.61.

The Cardinals aren’t the only team starting a pitcher with a low ERA. The Atlanta Braves (48-34) will send out Max Fried, who is 8-2 as a starter with a 2.66 ERA. The Braves have won four of their last five games this season, a remarkable feat. With a record of 26-17 at home, we’ve got to take Atlanta this time at -190.

Kansas City Royals at Houston Astros – 8:10 PM ET

Our last game of the day will be between the Kansas City Royals and Houston Astros. So far, the Royals haven’t won a single game in this series. It’s also important to note that they’ve lost three of their last five games. The 3-9 Brad Keller will get the start for Kansas City, which doesn’t give us much confidence.

The Houston Astros are 53-27 this season, ranking first in the AL West. Cristian Javier, who is 6-3 as a starter will get the nod on the mound tonight. With Javier on the mound and the Astros batters in full swing, this game is theirs. Javier has an ERA of 2.58 this season with 95 strikeouts in 69.2 innings. We’ll go with the Astros at -278 in this one.
