It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Tuesday’s schedule.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 1:15 PM ET

This is the first of two games the Pirates will play against the St. Louis Cardinals today. This double-header will first begin at 1:15 PM ET. On the mound in the first game is JT Brubaker, who has gone 0-6 over the course of the year. Brubaker has an ERA of 4.60 with 60 strikeouts in 58.2 innings pitched. It would seem that he’s a bit better than his record suggests.

The St. Louis Cardinals are 35.27 with a 19-12 record at home this year. Matthew Liberatore will get the start on the mound in Game 1. Liberatore has a 1-1 record as a starter with an ERA of 5.54. Although Brubaker has yet to be credited with a win, he’s slightly better than Liberatore. We’ll go with the Pirates to win the first game of the double-header at +140.

Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals – 7:05 PM ET

Jumping ahead to much later in the day, we’ll see the Atlanta Braves face the Washington Nationals. The Braves have won 12 games in a row so far and have a six-game road winning streak. They’ve been fantastic at the plate lately, batting .245 as a team with an on-base percentage of .312. On the mound tonight is the 6-2 Max Fried with an ERA of 2.64.

The Washington Nationals come into this game in a tough position. They’ve lost three of their last five games and have yet to name a starting pitcher. Where they do well is at the plate, with a team batting average of .258. Although they rank second overall in MLB in that regard, we’ll still take the Braves -230.

San Diego Padres vs. Chicago Cubs – 8:05 PM ET

The Padres have a record of 38-24 and rank second in the NL West. As one of the league’s best teams, the Padres have won four games in a row when on the road. Today, they continue their series against the Chicago Cubs, where they’ve already won once. Yesterday, the Padres secured a 4-1 win over the Cubs. The 3-3 Sean Manaea will get the start for them today.

The Chicago Cubs have lost seven games in a row including yesterday’s loss. The most embarrassing one yet was an 18-4 loss to the New York Yankees. Kyle Hendricks will take the mound for the Cubs tonight, Hendricks has a record of 2-5. With a poor record as a starter and a 5.22 ERA, we’ll take the Padres -135 here.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Arizona Diamondbacks – 9:40 PM ET

The game between the Cincinnati Reds and Arizona Diamondbacks should be a good one to watch. The Reds, fresh off a 5-4 win over Arizona, will look to add another win to their column. They’ve improved their record to 22-39 after going on quite the winning streak. The 2-5 Tyler Mahle will be tasked with stopping the batters in Arizona.

With Mahle on the mound, the Diamondbacks are in a good position. Mahle has an ERA of 5.07 and has struggled against good batters this year. Ketel Marte leads the Diamondbacks in terms of batting average at .270. If Marte can get the team going early, the Diamondbacks could pull this off. They’re also starting the 2-3, Zach Davies, so we’ll take the Diamondbacks -125.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Los Angeles Dodgers – 10:10 PM ET

The final game we’re going to look at is the battle for Los Angeles. The Angels, with a record of 29-33 have now won two of their last five games. The recent losing streak decimated their record, but at least they have a few wins now. Noah Syndergaard, 4-4 as a starter, will get the call to take the mound. Syndergaard has an ERA of 3.69 over 46.1 innings.

Although Syndergaard is good, Tony Gonsolin is a lot better. The Los Angeles Dodgers SP has a record of 7-0 this season with an ERA of 1.58. Over the course of 57 innings, Gonsolin has thrown 54 strikeouts compared to Syndergaard’s 30. Gonsolin and the Dodgers are too much for the Angels to beat at the moment. We’ll take the Dodgers -210 tonight.
