It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Tuesday’s schedule.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Cincinnati Reds – 6:40 PM ET

Beginning our best bets of the day is the game between the Brewers and Reds. The Brewers have lost three of their last five games, one of which to the Reds. In the fourth game of this six-game series, the Brewers lost to the Reds 10-5. However, it’s important to remember the Brewers have won each of the other games. This includes an 18-4 win in Game 2.

On the mound for the Brewers tonight is Freddy Peralta, who has a 1-1 record this season. For the Reds, the 1-4 Hunter Greene will get the start. Greene has an ERA of 8.71 over the course of 20.2 innings pitched. In the same amount of time, Greene has allowed 10 home runs and 28 hits. Take the Brewers to win on the road tonight.

New York Mets vs. Washington Nationals – 7:05 PM ET

There aren’t very many teams in Major League Baseball that are better than the New York Mets. With a record of 20-10, the Mets begin a three-game series against the Washington Nationals tonight. They come off a 6-1 win over the Philadelphia Phillies and have won three of their last five games.

The tough news for the Washington Nationals is that the Mets will start Tylor Megill tonight. Megill has a record of 4-1 with a 2.43 ERA over 33.1 innings pitched. He’s thrown 36 strikeouts in that time and has only allowed two home runs. The Nationals will send the 0-5 Patrick Corbin out to the mound. The best bet in this one is obviously the New York Mets.

Boston Red Sox vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:20 PM ET

This game between the Red Sox and Braves could be a tough one to pick. Although Boston is 10-19 this season, they have a better team batting average than the Braves. However, Boston has also lost five of its last five games. Garrett Whitlock, who is 1-1 this season, will make the start for the Red Sox tonight.

The Atlanta Braves will have the 3-1 Kyle Wright begin the game on the mound. Wright is one of their best pitchers and should do well against the batters of the Red Sox. The Braves won their last two games, both of which were against the Milwaukee Brewers. Look for the home team to come away with a win tonight.

Baltimore Orioles vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 7:45 PM ET

Although the Baltimore Orioles are 12-17, they’ve won four of their last five games. Taking this into consideration, they could have a chance against the Cardinals tonight. The Orioles’ most recent win was a 6-1 victory over the Kansas City Royals. RHP Kyle Bradish will start the game for the Orioles on the mound. Bradish is 1-1 with an ERA of 5.40 in only 10 innings pitched.

Clearly, pitching is something that bettors should pay attention to in this one. At the time of writing, the pitcher has yet to be decided for the Cardinals. SP Adam Wainwright is out, so at least we know it won’t be him. The Cardinals have lost their last two games, both to the San Francisco Giants. We’ll take an upset pick here and go with the Baltimore Orioles.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Los Angeles Angels – 9:38 PM ET

The last game that we consider to be one of the best to bet on is the Rays versus the Angels. Tampa Bay is 18-12 at the moment with a record of 9-5 on the road. In the first game of this series, the Rays lost to the Angels, 11-3. This marked their second loss in a row after losing to the Mariners just a day before.

Both Corey Kluber, starting pitcher for the Rays, and Reid Detmers of the Angels are 1-1. The difference is Kluber’s ERA of 2.36 in 26.2 innings pitched. Detmers has an ERA of 5.32 in 22 innings pitched, so the advantage goes to Kluber. The Rays also have a better team batting average at .246, but the Angels lead in on-base percentage. It’s a close one, but we’ll take L.A.
