It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Monday’s schedule.

New York Yankees vs. Baltimore Orioles – 7:05 PM ET

Beginning our list of best bets is a game between the Yankees and Orioles. The Yankees have a 4.5-game lead in the AL East with a 25-9 record. Tonight, the 2-0 Luis Severino will take the mound for the Yankees. Severino has a 4.08 ERA and has thrown 31 strikeouts over the course of 28.2 innings. He should do just fine against the struggling batters of the Baltimore Orioles.

The Orioles have lost three games in a row. Over their last five games, they’ve lost four of them. Today, they face one of if not the best team in Major League Baseball. On the mound for the Orioles is Kyle Bradish, who is 1-1 as a starter. Bradish is a good pitcher, throwing 16 strikeouts in 17.0 innings. However, the Yankees will likely come away as the victor in this game.

Houston Astros vs. Boston Red Sox – 7:10 PM ET

The Astros are dominating the AL West at the moment with a record of 23-12. Although they’re in firm control, they need to keep winning games to further secure their position. This three-game series against the Red Sox should be the perfect opportunity for them. Boston is 13-21, one of the worst teams in the AL East. The 3-2 Jake Odorizzi will start for Houston.

On the mound for Boston is Garrett Whitlock, who has gone 1-1 this season. Although the Red Sox record doesn’t look great at the moment, they’re 3-2 in their last five. The main question here is can the Red Sox batters take down Houston’s? Over their last five games, the Astros have averaged 7.2 runs per game. We think the smart bet is taking the Astros +100 here.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. New York Mets – 7:10 PM ET

The St. Louis Cardinals have an impressive 19-15 record this season. Tonight, however, they face one of the best teams in Major League Baseball, the New York Mets. Because of this, the Cardinals are sending one of their best to the mound, Miles Mikolas. Mikolas has a 3-1 record as a starter this season. He has one of the best ERA’s in MLB at 1.49 over 42.1 innings.

The question is, can his ERA and talent hold up against the New York Mets. As a team, the Mets rank fifth in the league in terms of batting average. However, the downfall for the Mets could be starting pitcher Trevor Williams. Williams is 0-2 as a starter with an ERA of 5.73 over 11 innings pitched. Still, we have faith that the Mets can pull off a win tonight.

Atlanta Braves vs. Milwaukee Brewers – 7:40 PM ET

The Atlanta Braves lost their series against the San Diego Padres yesterday. After a 7-3 loss, the Braves have now lost three of their last five games. Tonight, they’ll face the No.1 team in the NL Central, the Milwaukee Brewers. The good news for Atlanta is one of their best will take the mound in the 3-1 Ian Anderson.

Anderson will face a slew of batters that have an on-base percentage of .312. The Brewers have a record of 22-13 and are 10-4 at home this season. They’ve tallied 171 runs, ranking fourth in Major League Baseball. The Braves also put Ronald Acuna Jr. back on the day-to-day list, so keep that in mind. With that being said, we’ll take the Brewers -135 tonight.

Minnesota Twins vs. Oakland Athletics – 9:40 PM ET

The final game we’ll take a look at is the Minnesota Twins versus Oakland Athletics. The Twins lead the AL Central with a record of 20-15 to start the season. However, they’ve suffered some significant injuries. Miguel Sano, Carlos Correa, and Byron Buxton to name a few of them. On the mound tonight is the 0-1 Chris Archer, who has an ERA of 4.43.

The Oakland Athletics will start the 2-1 Zach Logue on the mound tonight. Both the Twins and the Athletics have had a rough last five games, losing three of them. However, the Athletics have a slight edge in terms of pitching today. Because of this, we’ll take the Athletics to beat the Twins +110.
