It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Tuesday’s schedule.

Colorado Rockies vs. Pittsburgh Pirates – 6:35 PM ET

The Colorado Rockies were at one time a leader in MLB. However, recent losses has seen their record drop to 19-22. Today, they have Game 2 versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. They lost yesterday, 2-1 bringing their losing streak to two games in a row. In their last five games, they’ve lost three and the 1-4 Kyle Freeland will get the start tonight.

The Pirates have also lost three of their last five games and have a record of 17-24. These teams are pretty evenly matched at the moment. The Pirates do have the advantage on the mound tonight with Roansy Contreras getting the start. Contreras is 1-0 this season with an ERA of 3.52. We’ll take the Pirates to win this one -140.

Chicago Cubs vs. Cincinnati Reds – 6:40 PM ET

The Chicago Cubs have won three straight games on the road. However, they still have an under .500 record this season. After winning their last two games, they’ll face the Cincinnati Reds again. Yesterday, they beat the Reds 7-4. Today, they’ll start Marcus Stroman, who has had a rough start to the season. Stroman is 1-4 as a SP and has an ERA of 4.88.

The good news for the Cubs is that the Reds pitching is pretty bad too. On the mound tonight is Tyler Mahle, who is 2-4 as a starter. Mahle has an ERA of 5.23 over the course of 43 innings pitched. The Reds are pretty bad when it comes to batting as well, with a team batting average of .217. We’ll stick with the Cubs to win this one on the road tonight.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:20 PM ET

Philadelphia enters the second game of their series against the Braves leading 1-0. Yesterday, the bats of the Phillies took over and won the game 7-4. On the mound tonight for Philadelphia is Kyle Gibson, who has a 3-2 record as a starter. The Phillies batters might have a tougher time today since they’ll face the 4-2 Max Fried.

Fried is easily one of the top pitchers in the Braves rotation. His ERA of 3.31 gives the Braves a good chance to win this game. The Braves batters, however, need to do a lot more to win this game at home. As a team, the Braves are batting .226, they have an on-base percentage of .298. With Fried on the mound, we’ll take the Braves -160 today.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 7:45 PM ET

The Toronto Blue Jays have a record of 22-20 but have lost their last two games. One of these losses was against the St. Louis Cardinals, who beat them 7-3 yesterday. Better pitching is needed today from the Blue Jays who will send Kevin Gausman to the mound. Gausman is 3-3 as a starter this season with an impressive 2.52 ERA.

The Cardinals batters are in for a tough one against Gausman. As a team, St. Louis has a batting average of .257, one of the best in MLB. However, there will be some trouble on the mound as they’ll start Jordan Hicks. Hicks is 1-3 this season as a starting pitcher with an ERA of 4.21. We expect the Blue Jays to bounce back and win this one on the road.

Texas Rangers vs. Los Angeles Angels – 9:38 PM ET

Finishing off our MLB bets of the day is the Rangers versus the Angels. This is the first game of the series but the Rangers have lost two in a row already. Their most recent game was a 5-2 loss to the Houston Astros. With an 18-22 record, the Rangers will hope that Dane Dunning can get them a win today. However, that will be much easier said than done against the Angels.

On the mound for the Angels tonight is Noah Syndergaard, the 3-2 RHP. Syndergaard has an ERA of 3.60 this season and 22 strikeouts. The Angels also have an advantage in terms of batting average, with a team average of .247. With the struggles the Rangers have had, we don’t expect much from them today. Take the Angels -170 at home.
