It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Monday’s schedule.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates – 6:35 PM ET

There are three games left in the series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates. At the moment, the Cardinals are up in the series with a 2-1 lead. Last night, however, they suffered a 7-5 loss to the Pirates after winning two in a row.

The Pittsburgh Pirates will send out Mitch Keller, who has a 5-12 record this season. Keller has an ERA of 3.92 over the course of 154 innings pitched. The main problem is their batters, who have a team batting average of .221. Compared to the Cardinals’ average of .252, this just isn’t good enough, so we’ll take the Cardinals.

Atlanta Braves vs. Miami Marlins – 6:40 PM ET

The Atlanta Braves have a 100-59 record leading into this series. They pulled off a three-game sweep over the Atlanta Braves after a 5-3 win last night. The fast travel from Atlanta to Miami might weigh on the Braves but not too much. Getting the start on the mound today is Bryce Elder, who has a 2-3 record with a 2.76 ERA.

The Miami Marlins come into this game as heavy underdogs and for good reason. Still, they’ll send out Jesus Luzardo, who has a 3-7 record this season. The Braves lead the Marlins in terms of batting as well with a .229 batting average. Look for the Braves to earn another win on the road here.

Chicago Cubs vs. Cincinnati Reds – 6:40 PM ET

With a record of 73-86, the Chicago Cubs will face the 60-99 Cincinnati Reds. After an 8-1 win over the Reds yesterday, the Cubs come in surprisingly as underdogs. The 3-1Hayden Wesneski will get the start on the mound for the Cubs tonight. Wesneski has an ERA of 2.33 over the course of 27 innings pitched.

The Cincinnati Reds are starting Hunter Greene, who has a 4-13 record this season. Greene’s awful pitching won’t help the Reds earn a win in tonight’s game. They’ve already lost three games to the Chicago Cubs and we think they’ll lose another. Take the Cubs at +110 over the Reds tonight.

New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers – 7:05 PM ET

While Aaron Judge has been a topic of conversation, the Yankees have as well. With a 97-61 record, they’ll head to Texas to face the Rangers after yesterday’s loss. Luis Severino, who is 6-3, will get the start on the mound tonight. Although Severino’s good, he’s not quite as good as the starter for the Rangers.

The Texas Rangers are starting Martin Perez, who has a 12-7 record this season. His ERA of 2.93 gives the Rangers the advantage on the mound today. Although they’ve lost five games in a row, we expect them to bounce back here. Take the Rangers at home over the Yankees at +130.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Boston Red Sox – 7:10 PM ET

The final game we’re going to go over is the Tampa Bay Rays at Boston Red Sox. After losing four of their last five games, the Rays have dropped to a record of 86-73. On the mound for Tampa Bay is Tyler Glasnow, who has a 3.00 ERA this season.

The Boston Red Sox come into this game as +118 underdogs and we love those odds.
Rich Hill, who is 8-7 with an ERA of 4.41 will get the start in tonight’s game. The key here, however, is batting. The Red Sox have a team batting average of .257 and we’ll take them +118 over the Rays tonight.
