It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Thursday’s schedule.

Kansas City Royals vs. Chicago White Sox – 2:10 PM ET

There aren’t very many MLB games today but this one could be entertaining. The Kansas City Royals, with a record of 53-78, take on the Chicago White Sox (64-66). This series is currently tied at 1-1 with the Royals losing 4-2 last night. On the mound is Daniel Mengden, who has only pitched 4.1 innings this season.

Taking the mound for the White Sox is Johnny Cueto, who is 6-6 this season. Cueto has an ERA of 2.98 and the White Sox batting is pretty strong as well. With an average of .260, they rank as one of the best in the league. We’ll take the White Sox at home -235.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Mets – 4:10 PM ET

The series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets will also come to a close today. The Dodgers, with a record of 90-39 have the best record in baseball. They’ll also be starting one of the best pitchers in the league in Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw is returning from a back injury with a 7-3 record and 2.64 ERA.

The Mets are starting a solid pitcher of their own in Chris Bassitt. Bassitt has a record of 11-7 this season with an ERA of 3.34. Although both of these teams have incredible batting, the Dodgers have a slight edge at .261 to the Mets’ .257. Look for the Dodgers to win the last game of the series -145.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Cleveland Guardians – 6:10 PM ET

The Baltimore Orioles are trying to work their way up in the AL East. They currently have a 68-61 record and rank fourth in the division. Unfortunately, they’ll have Kyle Bradish on the mound tonight who has a 2-5 record and a 5.63 ERA.

The Cleveland Guardians are starting Shane Bieber, who has a much better record and ERA. His 8-7 record, highlighted by a 3.02 ERA puts him in the drivers seat for this game. Plus, the Guardians are 33-26 at home, making them the better option tonight. We’ll go with Cleveland -190 at home over the Orioles.

Colorado Rockies vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:20 PM ET

One of the final games of the night is between the Colorado Rockies and Atlanta Braves. At the moment, the series is tied at 1-1. The Rockies lost 3-2 last night after winning 3-2 the night before. On the mound is Chad Kuhl, who has a 6-7 record with a 5.17 ERA. In terms of pitching, the Rockies are at a massive disadvantage tonight.

On the mound for the Braves is Spencer Strider, whose 8-4 record is backed by a 2.87 ERA. An ERA of under 3.00 is rather impressive for pitching over 100 innings. The Braves finally broke a three-game losing streak with last night’s win. They’re the better team to take tonight, especially with Kuhl on the mound for Colorado. Go with the Braves at -420 tonight.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks – 9:40 PM ET

You might have to stay up a while to catch the game between the Milwaukee Brewers and Arizona Diamondbacks. The Brewers, with a record of 69-60, begin their series against the 61-68 Diamondbacks today. They’re sending out the 9-3 Brandon Woodruff, who has an ERA of 3.31 this season. He’ll also have the help of a batting group that has an average of .236.

The Diamondbacks are starting a good pitcher too in Merrill Kelly. Kelly is the Diamondbacks best pitcher, boasting an 11-5 record and a 2.97 ERA. The only trouble is the Diamondbacks batting but that has vastly improved as well. Although they come in at +115, making them the underdogs, we think they’re the best pick.
