It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Tuesday’s schedule.

New York Mets vs. Pittsburgh Pirates – 6:35 PM ET

The best bets of the day begin with one of the best teams in the National League. This season, the New York Mets have a record of 85-50 and lead the NL East. After back-to-back losses to the Washington Nationals, they head to Pittsburgh to face the Pirates. On the mound tonight is the 10-3 Taijuan Walker, who looks to earn a win for the Mets.

The Pittsburgh Pirates are sending out one of their best pitchers as well. Mitch Keller, although 4-10 this season, has an ERA of 4.43 through 124 innings. The key here is that the Pirates have a .219 team batting average compared to the Mets’ .256. Take the Mets on the road at -235 over Pittsburgh.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Chicago Cubs – 7:40 PM ET

Yesterday’s game ended in a 10-0 win for the Cincinnati Reds over the Colorado Rockies. Now, the Reds face a new challenge, the Chicago Cubs. After going 3-2 in their last five games, the Reds have a 53-79 record. Getting the start tonight is Justin Dunn, who is 1-2 with a 4.63 ERA.

The Chicago Cubs have a record of 56-78, making them a good match for the Reds. They’ll send out Wade Miley, who is 1-0 with a 2.84 ERA. These teams have a similar batting average as well, with the Reds getting a slight advantage. It’s going to be a close one but after a 10-0 win over the Rockies, we’ll take the Reds +140.

Washington Nationals vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 7:45 PM ET

The Washington Nationals will send out the 0-6 Paolo Espino to face the St. Louis Cardinals. Espino has an ERA of 4.22 this season, allowing 18 home runs in 96 innings. Considering he’s playing some of the best batters in the league, things aren’t looking good for Washington. The good news is he’s backed up by a group that is batting .250 this season.

The St. Louis Cardinals are sending out Jose Quintana, who has a 4-6 record. Quintana has an ERA of 3.47 this season, giving his team the advantage on the mound. The Cardinals are also better at the plate this season, hitting .257. We’ll take the Cardinals over the Nationals at -267.

Cleveland Guardians vs. Kansas City Royals – 8:10 PM ET

The Cleveland Guardians are coming off of a 6-5 win over the Kansas City Royals last night. However, it took them until the 10th inning to get a win over the 55-81 Royals. Tonight, the 69-64 Guardians will hope for a better outing with Shane Bieber on the mound. Bieber has an 8-8 record with a 3.06 ERA this season.

The Kansas City Royals have a 55-81 record and are 32-38 at home this season. On the mound for them tonight is the 2-10 Kris Bubic. Bubic has an ERA of 5.47 over the span of 105.1 innings. The Guardians also have a slight edge at the plate where they have an average of .249. We’ll take the Guardians on the road at -190 in this one.

Atlanta Braves vs. Oakland Athletics – 9:40 PM ET

The Atlanta Braves are on a five-game winning streak and hope to extend it to six. A few days ago they pulled off a 7-1 win over the Miami Marlins. In front of them today is the Oakland Athletics, who are 50-85 this season. The Braves have a record of 84-51 and are starting the 17-5 Kyle Wright, who has a 2.85 ERA.

The Braves don’t just have the advantage on the mound but at the plate as well. This season, Atlanta is batting .253, one of the best averages in the league. On the mound for Oakland is Cole Irvin, who has a 3.35 ERA and a 7-11 record. We’ll go with the Braves on the road over the Athletics at -225.
