NFL Week 2 Recap
The second week of the NFL was full of action, along with a few upsets. Certain games that were considered “locks” ended up falling through the cracks, while others went according to plan. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite games of the week during this NFL Week 2 recap.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints – 20-10 (Buccaneers)
This NFC South game was another interesting matchup that started very slow. At the end of the half, only three points were scored between both teams. The fourth quarter was all Tampa Bay, however, scoring 17 points and only allowing a touchdown.
The New Orleans Saints turned the ball over five times in Week 2. Jameis Winston went 25-40, throwing 236 yards and three interceptions. Although they put up over 300 yards of offense, the Saints were unable to pull off a win.
Arizona Cardinals vs. Las Vegas Raiders – 29-23 (Cardinals)
Another comeback victory happened during the Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders game. The Cardinals were down 23-7 to end the third quarter but battled back in the fourth. Kyler Murray went 31-49, passing for 277 yards and a touchdown.
The Las Vegas Raiders played a great game for three quarters. However, they fell apart on defense in the fourth quarter and allowed 22 unanswered points. With an 0-2 record, the Raiders are going to have to go back to the drawing board.
