NFL Week 2 Recap

The second week of the NFL was full of action, along with a few upsets. In addition, certain games that were considered “locks” ended up falling through the cracks. Yet, other games went according to plan. Next, let’s take a look at some of our favorite games of the week during this NFL Week 2 recap.

Miami Dolphins vs. Baltimore Ravens – 42-38 (Dolphins)

To begin, the first game we’re going to take a look at is the Miami Dolphins at the Baltimore Ravens. The Dolphins played an incredible game, and they fought all the way until the end. Additionally, Tua Tagovialoa threw six touchdowns with 469 yards. In the end, he secured a win during the final moments of the game. 

During the fourth quarter, the Baltimore Ravens had trouble, allowing 28 points. In the end, they head into the final quarter with a 35-14 lead, and the game looked as if it was won. However, the Ravens allowed the Dolphins to battle back and get the win.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars – 24-0 (Jaguars)

It’s strange to see a shutout already in Week 2, especially by the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Colts’ starting quarterback Matt Ryan threw three interceptions on the day. By the end of the half, the Colts were already down 17-0.

This was a beautifully played game by the Jacksonville Jaguars’ defense. By the end of the game, they forced three turnovers, and the offense controlled the ball for 38:15. Moving to 1-1, the Jaguars look as if they’ll be the team to beat in the AFC South.
