NFL Regular Season Week 2 Betting Outlook

In the NFL, every team has a chance to win on any given Sunday. But as we move into Week 2, some teams are starting to show their true colors. The teams that looked good in Week 1 are likely going to continue playing well, while the teams that struggled are going to have a harder time getting back on track.

That’s what makes NFL betting so interesting – anything can happen on any given Sunday. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make some educated guesses about how things will play out. So without further ado, let’s take a look at my predictions for Week 2 of the NFL season.

Miami Dolphins vs. Baltimore Ravens – Sunday, September 18, 2022 12:00pm CST

This game is a tough one to call for a few reasons. Sure, the Miami Dolphins pulled off a 20-7 win, but they looked out of sync at certain points. Tua Tagovailoa also underthrew a few passes last week, so keep that in mind.

The Ravens, on the other hand, beat the New York Jets, which isn’t saying much. Ravens Lamar Jackson threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns but also threw an interception. It’s a tough call, but we’ll take the Dolphins +3.5 in this one.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Los Angeles Rams – Sunday, September 18, 2022 3:05pm CST

The first of the afternoon games will feature two high-powered offenses. The Atlanta Falcons made use of Cordarrelle Patterson, who earned 120 rushing yards last week. They narrowly lost to the Saints and are looking to earn a big win here on the road. 

The Los Angeles Rams were easily beaten by the Buffalo Bills last week, 31-10. Matthew Stafford threw three interceptions, and the defense allowed over 400 yards. This is a game that we expect them to bounce back, but the Falcons will cover the 10.5-point spread.
