NFL Week 3 Recap

The third week of the NFL was full of action, along with a few upsets. Certain games that were considered “locks” ended up falling through the cracks, while others went according to plan.

Let’s check out some of the best NFL games of the week during this NFL Week 3 recap. 

Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots – 37-26 (Ravens)

The Baltimore Ravens continue to prove themselves as one of the best teams in the league. In Week 3, they easily dealt with the New England Patriots, beating them 37-26.

Lamar Jackson played an incredible game, passing for 218 yards and four touchdowns. With their record increased to 2-1, it’s important to note they’re undefeated on the road.

The New England Patriots are in a tough spot as they are 1-2 this season. They’ll likely be without QB Mac Jones for a significant time after he suffered an injury last week.

They were still able to put up 26 points against the Ravens, so that’s not bad. Unfortunately, it just didn’t mean much by the time the fourth quarter came to a close. 

Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins – 21-19 (Dolphins)

Perhaps the most shocking win in Week 3 was the Miami Dolphins beating the Buffalo Bills. With a record of 2-1 now, the Bills’ offense was shut down in Week 3.

Interestingly enough, Buffalo was still able to earn 497 total yards of offense. They moved the ball well, but Miami held them to just 19 points. The Bills will head to Baltimore to face the Ravens in Week 4.

The talk around this game is easily Tua Tagovailoa, who passed for just 186 yards. Although Tua earned the Miami Dolphins a win last week, they could be without him in Week 4.

He took a tough hit which left him dazed and stumbling to walk last week. He’s not on the injury list at the moment but keep an eye on it. The Dolphins will face the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday.
