NFL Regular Season Week 5 Betting Outlook

Week 4 of the regular NFL season has been one for the books. We started Thursday off with two undefeated teams left, and now only the Philadelphia Eagles hold that title.  In addition, the Miami Dolphins received their first lost to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football.

Through out the week, we have seen everything from players being taken off the field to teams emerging as still undefeated in going into week 5. In the end, there is no telling what we destined to see going into this next week. This is what makes sports betting so interesting- that you never know what the next game is going to bring.

As we head in to the fifth week of the NFL, we are predicting to see some great games. Today, we will take a look at each of the games coming up in week 5 and share our picks.

Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets – October 9, 2022 12:00pm CST 

The Miami Dolphins will be without Tua Tagovailoa for some time, but they have a 3-1 record. Taking over for him is Teddy Bridgewater, a capable backup that can elude pressure. 

The only problem with Bridgewater is he doesn’t have a very strong arm. As they face the 2-2 New York Jets, the Dolphins should be able to escape the stadium with a win.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers  – October 9, 2022 12:00pm CST

Two NFC South teams will face off here as the Atlanta Falcons play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Falcons, with a record of 2-2 and a 1-1 record on the road, recently beat the Cleveland Browns 23-20.  

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a 2-2 record as well but are 0-2 at home. After a 41-31 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, we expect them to earn their first home win in Week 5.
