Purdue’s Top 25 Big Wins – Villanova and North Carolina

The Purdue Boilermakers have started out their season a perfect 5-0. Currently ranked third in the nation, Purdue has already taken down two top 25 teams, Villanova and North Carolina. Let’s take a look at their early games, what they have coming up, and what their December will look like.

Purdue features one of the top big men in all of college basketball, Zach Edey. Last season, Edey spent time coming off the bench and playing a reserve role. To start 2021, it seems Edey will be taking over the paint and has put on dominant performances already.

Jaden Ivey, a sophomore guard, is also looking to have a bigger role in 2021. Ivey averaged 11 points a game last season with three rebounds. To start this season, he is averaging 15 points a game and seven rebounds. Purdue will also have a senior at guard, Sasha Stefanovic, who is off to his best start in his four years, averaging 15 points per game.
